A road side bus  One day, while surfing in the countryside of a town, suddenly I found a very old bus at the side of the road in terrible condition. A bus by which at some point in time have lots of travel stories—a bus by which thousands and thousands of travelers found their way of journey and reached the destination. But one day, the trip was the last, and indeed, the bus got a fatal mishap. From then on, it is only describing its glorious past and travel history to the passers-by standing on the one side of the road. Now it is counting its last days. The story of life is also similar to the bus.

  A boat at the bank of a river I can still remember my childhood days when I was afraid of water because I didn't know how to swim.  The fear of water was so much deep into my mind that I often observed myself drowning in water in a horrible nightmare. I have always wanted to learn to swim so that I could get rid of this hydrophobia. Even there are instances when this panic grew more in mind. For example, I remember traveling on a ferry in the holy river Ganga to go to a pilgrimage site with my parents in my childhood days. Once, there was a time when we could not see a sign of land even to the horizon range. And we were surrounded by water from all directions. I was terrified of this view and wanted to reach any bank of the river immediately. Anyway, we reached our destination safely and enjoyed the holiday a lot. Me doing Work from home and simultaneously enjoying the nature. Now a days, we are working on generally two modes. Either our official or academic work are in WFH (work from home) mode or WFO (work from office) mode. When Covid-19 started spreading last year in January 2020 and all the restrictions were implemented by the government. Suddenly, all the offices started shutting down. Then, whole economy came on WFH platform. At the beginning, everyone faced little difficulty but then WFH became a better option for work. Now a days, when the restrictions is being lifted up and we are going to the normal condition with decreasing spread of Covid disease, again the working culture is returning back in offline mode i.e. WFO mode. Today many of the people are reluctant to return on WFO mode because of various reasons. In contrast, many people are happy with backing WFO mode.  In my resident, I always used to see a distant hill from my rooftop. During childhood days I have trekked the hill once or twice during the new year celebrations. But now approximately 20-22 years have been passed and I never visited the place. Well there was various reasons behind it. A new park was build at some distant from the hill and the tourist attractions for the hill decayed over time. Now people used to go the park and enjoy whole day instead of facing spiny tress, foxes and other reptiles of the hill. Years passed by and we brought up. School life ended and collage life continued but still back of the mind, I always wished to again and trek to the top and hill, like I used to do during my childhood days.   Video link In a documentary by UNEP (link given above) reveals the relation between how deforestation is related to disease which is related to zoonotic animals such as bats, rats etc. With drastic increasing the supply and demand chain, industries are putting themselves too far in grabbing more and more lands to built industries. This results in an adverse impact on the forest lands, which is vanishing day by day. With increasing deforestations the zoonotic animals are coming closer to the human environments, which is effecting the heath of humans and domestic animas such as cats and dogs. The growing zoonotic disease such as Ebola, Covid 19 are becoming common. Video link   In a video blog of DW hindi (video link given above), describes a village in Indonesia where people rely are using rain water harvesting to fulfill their daily needs of water. With increasing demand and privatization of water industry in Indonesia, one priest came with an excellent solution to solve the water crises. He promotes the concept of rain water storing whole year and refine this water through the process of electrolysis. The principle of electrolysis is basically based on passing of currents between the two electrodes dipped into the water.   Video link In a video(link given at the top) published in world economic forum highlights how Natural regeneration could be an effective idea to restore the forest cover. It is based upon the principle of leave the nature in its own condition so that it grows naturally and heals by itself. I does not means taking no action but instead highlights on planting more native trees in the forests.These should be no human interference in the forest cover for building made made structures. It will promote the growth of ecology and biodiversity of the nature. Again, by following this approach it is expected that it will observe 10% of annual carbon dioxide emission of  UK and quarter of  green house gas worldwide.   As per an article published in DW, in order to archive zero carbon emission policy by 2035, Germany has taken a way forward. In year 2020, 50.5 % of electricity production was based on renewable sources of energy.  27% part of total electric production came from wind energy,10% part came from the solar contribution, 9% from the biomass and 4% from hydropower, 13% from nuclear enegry 12% from natural gas and 24 % form coal. All these is due to a good governance policies which brings this magnificent results and expect to grow more in recent futures. 

  In a recent report published in DW, now the people of Norway are preferring electric car over conventional petrol and diesel cars. The country has set a milestone of totally removing all the conventional type cars by 2025. Approximately 54.3% of total cars that were bought in the year 2020 were the electric one. In 2019 this data was on 42.4% which clearly shows the recent increase in Battery operated electric vehicles usage. This interest among the people has caught attention to many car manufacturing company such as Ford, Tesla, Audi, BMW etc and these companies are launching their electric vehicles in the country. The car distributors has expected this tread will further increase in 2021 and so on and in this way by 2025 the country will become totally free from the conventional diesel and petrol based cars.

According to a report published in DW, this year (2020) experiences a sharp decreasing trend of  carbon emission. The credit goes to lockdown imposed due to tackle noble corona virus (COVID19), which resulted in checking the traffic and industrial output, which resulted in a sharp decrease of carbon emission. Experts said that factories, transportation, aviation sectors are the major factors which causes huge pollution to the environment. Due to lockdown the pollution caused by these factors are totally checked. But when the total restriction will be lifted the situation will again return to same place. So only lockdown is not the only solution to the global climate change. It can act as temporary solutions but for a permanent it the duty of every citizen to work for it, such as work form home culture should be encouraged, limiting the usage of transportation,  using plastic free resources, encouraging the green energy platforms and minimizing the carbon footprint of every ind...

आज हमलोग पन्ना टाइगर रिज़र्व के बारे में बात करेंगे। यह टाइगर रिज़र्व मध्य प्रदेश के पन्ना और छतरपुर जिले  में लगभग 542. 67 वर्ग किलोमीटर  फैला हुआ है। यह विंध्य पर्वत श्रेणियों के अंतर्गत  आता है। यह  रिज़र्व  पहले गंगऊ वाइल्डलाइफ सक्तुअरी के अंतर्गत आता था  जो की 1975 में बना था ।  बाद में सन 1981 में इसी वाइल्ड लाइफ सक्तुअरी के एरिया से पन्ना नेशनल पार्क  सन  1981 में अस्तित्व में आया। फिर चलकर 1994 में भारत सरकार  द्वारा इसे प्रोजेक्ट टाइगर रिज़र्व की श्रेणी में रखा गया।  और इस प्रकार पन्ना टाइगर रिज़र्व का अस्तित्वा आया।  यह टाइगर रिज़र्व पतझरी जंगलो, पठारों, और घास की हरी भरी घाटियों से भरा हुआ है जहा की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता आपका मन मोह लेगी। इस टाइगर रिज़र्व से होकर केन नदी बहती है जो की इस जंगल के सभी जीव जन्तुओ के लिए की जीवन दायिनी स्रोत है। यह आपको बाघों के अलावा तेंदुआ , नीलगाय , चिंकारा , चीतल, जंगली कुत्ते भेड़िए लकड़बग्गा भालू मिल जायेंगे।  इसे साथ साथ केन नदी घाटियों में घड़ियाल मगर एवं अन्य सरीसृप भ...

   दी डब्लू में प्रदर्शित एक डॉक्यूमेंटरी (जिसका लिंक नीचे  दिया गया है ) में जर्मनी के जंगलो में जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण  होने कारण नुकसान को दर्शाया गया है। जर्मनी  का एक बड़ा हिस्सा जंगलो से घिरा है मगर जलवायु की मार पड़ने से यहां के जंगल सूखते जा रहे है जिससे परिस्थितिया और भी गंभीर होती जा रही है।  गर्मिया बड़ रही है और भूगर्भ जल का स्तर निचे चला जा रहा है।  इन परेशनियो को देखते हुए गोएथे विस्वविद्याल के एक वैज्ञानिक वोल्फगांग बुणगमन, जंगल अधिकारी एवं पर्यावरणविदों की सहायता से एक हल निकला है।  जर्मनी के इन जंगलो में चीड़  और बालोत के जगह ऐसे पेड़ लगाए जा रहे है जो ज्यादा गर्मी झेल और कम पानी में भी रह सके।  इसके मदद से इस देश में घटती जंगलो की समस्या से भी निजात पाया जा सकेगा।  Video Link

 दी डव्लू में निर्मित एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री (जिसका लिंक नीचे  दिया गया है ) में पर्यावरण को लेकर एक पर्यावण प्रेमी विजय धस्माना के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को दर्शाया गया है। दिल्ली गुडगाँव का छेत्र को दुनिआ में सबसे प्रदुसित इलाको में गिना जाता है.  वहा अब  इनके सार्थक प्रयास से इस कंक्रीट के जंगलो  के बीच एक 380 एकर में जंगल तैयार किया गया है।  विजय जी का कहना है की इस पूरी बायोडायवर्सिटी पार्क एक बंजर जमीन पर बननी सुरु हुई और आज इसे पूरी तरह फलने फूलने में 10  साल लग गए। आज यह जंगल जैव विविधता का उदहारण पेश कर रहा है।   अब यहाँ विभिन्न प्रकार के पंखियो और सरीसृपों का प्रजनन होता है। कुछ इसी प्रकार का प्रयास राजीव सूरी के द्वारा  दिल्ली के ही डिफेंस कॉलोनी को हरा भरा करने में है जो की एक समय कुरे कचरे का ढेर बन गया था।  मगर राजीव जी के अथक प्रयास से आज वहा एक छोटा सा ग्रीन पार्क बन गया है।  इस डाक्यूमेंट्री को जरूर देखे।   DW documentary Video link

  आज हम बात करेंगे एक ऐसे भारतीय परिवार की जिन्होंने अपने भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा की नौकरी छोड़ पर्यावण संरक्छक बन गए । आदित्य सिंह और पूनम सिंह ने राजस्थान के सवाई माधोपुर में रणथंबोर टाइगर रिज़र्व के समिट ४० एकर की जमीन खरीदी फिर उसे उसी अनुकूल छोड़ दिया।  २० साल के समय अंतराल के बाद वो जगह पूरी तरह एक जंगल के रूप में परिणत हो गया।  इसके साथ साथ वह दो तालाब प्राकृतिक रूप से बन गए।  इसी जंगल में फिर अन्य प्राणी जैसे नीलगाय हिरन बाघ का  भी आना आरम्भ हो गया क्योकि यह जगह रणथम्बोर टाइगर रिज़र्व के समीप है।  इस परिवार ने एक बहुत ही बेह्तरीह उदाहरण पेस किया है पर्यावरण और वन्य प्राणी संरक्षण के चैत्र में जो को बहुत सराहनीय कदम भी है। इस प्रकार के निजी जंगलो का विचार हमारे देश में बिलकुल नया है। हमारे देश में जो भी अन्य जंगल है वो सरकार द्वारा नियंत्रित है।  पर इसप्रकार के निजी जंगलो का विचार संरक्षण के साथ साथ विभिन्न ग्रामीण छेत्रो में रोजगार के अवसर भी पैदा करता है।  ये टूरिज्म को बरवा देकर लोगो को प्रकृति के प्रति जागरूक करता है। आज जहा देश में २५ प...

                                    वर्ल्ड इकनोमिक फोरम में जारी वीडियो (जिसका लिंक ऊपर दिया गया है ) में फ्रांस की राजधानी पेरिस में पर्यावरण को लेकर एक मत्वाकांशी योजना को दर्शाता है। इसे 15 मिनट सिटी पेरिस कहा गया है।  यह इस विचार पर आधारित है की शहर के संरचना कुछ इस प्रकार की जाएगी ताकि आपकी जरुरत की हर चीज़ शहर के 15 मिनट पैदल के दुरी में उपलब्ध रहेगी।  यह कदम सड़कों में परिवहन की संख्या को कम  कर प्रदूषण के स्तर  को काम करने का उपाय है। इसके साथ साथ सरकार परिवहन के लिए उपलब्ध पार्किंग को भी सिमित कर सड़को में बाइसिकल के लिए लें भी बनाएगी। ये आज की बरती पर्यावण की समस्या को देखते हुए एक मत्वपूर्ण कदम है। इस परियोजना को हमारे देशो में लगाया जाना चाहिए और साइकिल पर निर्भरता को बराय जाना चाहिए। पर सरकार से पहले ये स्थानीय नागरिको का दायित्वा है की वो इन उपायों को बढ़ावा दे और स्थानीय तौर पर इन्हे प्रयोग में लाये।

 आज हमलोग क्लस्टर कैनोपी के विषय में चर्चा करेंगे | यह शहरी छेत्रो में एक छोटे छोटे जंगल या कहे पॉकेट फॉरेस्टेशन पर  आधारित है | इसमें शहरी छेत्रो में ही कुछ पौधों को एक साथ एक मुठे में या यु कहे एक समूह में बांध दिया जाता है और उस पुरे पौधे के मुठे को ही रोप दिया जाता है | फिर चार पांच साल बाद पेड़ बड़े हो जाते है तोह इनके ऊपरी हिस्से की सतह काफी फैल जाते है | इससे एक छोटे से जगह में ही काफी घनी जगलनुमा पर्यावरण का निर्माण होता है |  ये पंछियो को अपनी और आकर्षित करते है और साथ साथ ज्यादा घने होने के कारन इनके निचे के घास में काफी हरे भरे होते है | अतः ये मृदा अपरदन एंड जल संचयन में काफी अहम् भूमिका निभाता है | अगर इसमें फलदार वृक्ष को महत्ता दी जाये तोह ये एग्रोफोरेस्ट्री के दृस्टि से एक अच्छा आय का भी स्रोत बन सकता है | इसके साथ साथ चुकी ये जमीं में काफी कम  जगह लेते है सो इस सिद्धांत को वैसे छेत्रो में भी लगाया जा सकता है समुचित जगह की कमी है |
